SamartTreats, founded by Samar Ibrahim, is a proudly local, St. Petersburg-based health food start-up built on a simple but powerful belief: indulgence should be both delicious and nutritious. That’s why our artisan treats are handmade from wholesome and premium ingredients: dates, nuts, and dark chocolate. Free of dairy, gluten, and refined sugars, we are redefining indulgence… the Samart & healthy way!

How it started
SamartTreats was born from Samar’s personal journey.
Growing up in Amman, Jordan, her favorite snack was a simple date stuffed with a nut. Years later, with a dairy allergy and a deep love of chocolate, she returned to that nostalgic combo—this time wrapped in dark chocolate.
What began during the COVID pandemic as an experiment in her kitchen quickly became a hit with friends and family. Soon, SamartTreats was more than a passion project—it was a purpose-driven brand.
Now based in St. Petersburg, FL, SamartTreats is popping up at local markets and community events, with plans to expand into boutique shops and cafés.

Part brand designer, part chocolatier, Samar is the maker behind every SamartTreat. Her journey with food allergies and love of wholesome indulgence inspired a mission: treats that feel as good as they taste.
Kalim
Chief Treatonomist
Equal parts spreadsheet wizard and snack strategist, Kalim brings the numbers to the nibs. He oversees operations, financial planning, and the big-picture growth of SamartTreats—all while keeping things sweet and sustainable.
Steve
Snacktician
From supply runs to last-minute fixes, Steve keeps SamartTreats running smooth. He’s the behind-the-scenes problem solver, the go-to for anything and everything. Need a hand? Steve’s already there—multitool in one hand, truffle in the other.
